HALF BANDAGED (story of a friendship)

I use to fully cover my Peps'n'Dolls with bandages, due to show how difficult can be trying to express ourselves while having no chance to talk. But this time I preferred to give these two Mummies the possibility to show their faces. Though, I gave them no eyes... or no mouth, or no ears. That's because sometimes we are just too shy to talk, or too respecful to watch, or too scared to listen. These two sculptures represent a couple of friends: Jasmin and Andrea: characters in a book I'm writing. In my story they look complitely different... and nontheless they can talk, but in this sculpture version, they are forced to use alternative methods to communicate. They will be able to understand eachother only thanks to their open hearts.
